Human beings are peculiar creatures! When we encounter in person what we have known only through photo-reproductions, our impulse is to take a picture! What great irony it is that we squander this precious moment, more poorly reproducing what is already well documented and in the public domain. Perhaps the act of taking a photograph of a celebrity is something akin to touching it.
